Illuminate Downtown Ashland is a free community wide event that aims to shine a light on the important role art plays within a community. Artists, musicians and dancers are paired up with local spaces lit with the simplicity of a candle and opened for all to enjoy. A detailed schedule of events is now available on the Illuminate page. The studio is the starting location. Come join us!

Free Class for Community

The studio will host Boston-Based Jean Appolon Expressions at Stone Park. The dance company will teach a free Haitian Folkloric dance class for those interested in movement. Live drummers will be present. Studio families may park in the studio parking lot and walk over to Stone Park. This event is for all ages so bring the family.

PCO Performs at Dragonfly Festival

The Movement Project Performance Company took the grassy stage in September for an outdoor performance at the Historical Society in Ashland. It has been over a year since our students performed in front of a live audience. Thank you Dragonfly Festival for creating space for our dancers to join the festivities.

Dance w/ Ashlee

The studio's Company / Advanced level students have the opportunity to dance on Sundays. Ashlee will be getting her Masters Degree in Dance Pedagogy at NYU but will be back to share her knowledge on Sundays.

The Layla Lynn Bober Memorial Foundation's generous donations have provided opportunities for students to take dance class for free, Please reach out to the dance studio if you have a child interested in dance but are experiencing a financial hardship.

The Layla Lynn Bober Memorial Foundation was founded on the love and spirit of keeping Layla Bober's memory alive through helping organizations she enjoyed being a part of. Annemarie's Dance Centre was blessed to know Layla and honored to receive funds through the foundation.
